Aluminium Section Bending Apprentices

Training the next generation of Aluminium Section Bender

We are proud to announce our participation in the Telford College Apprenticeship program with our Aluminium Section Bending Apprentices. We’ve recently taken new apprentices onboard and we could not be happier with our candidates.

Telford College has a long history of providing eager apprentices for a wide range of jobs across many industries.

A spokesperson for the college had this to say regarding the program:

Telford College’s Engineering and Technology centre known as the Discovery Centre was opened in April 2013 at a cost of £3M.

The centre houses 5 high quality classrooms complete with high end IT equipment running the latest engineering software such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, FluidSIM and Multisim.

A large workshop area houses manual centre lathes, manual vertical millers, 4 CNC machine tools as well as a large area for bench fitting and 18 welding bays set up for MIG and arc welding.

Within the centre we offer a range of courses starting at the Level 1 Certificate in Engineering and progressing through to the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering as well as a Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Apprenticeship Standard.

All courses are delivered by vastly experienced staff with many years of experience within the engineering sector.  With a diverse range of skills in areas such as: manufacturing engineering, maintenance engineering, electrical engineering and electronics engineering.

The apprenticeship programme is a four year course and we are delighted Alubend took on two of our own Engineering students this year to further their careers.

Aluminium Section Bending Apprentices

Starting off we have welcomed 2 fantastic new apprentices, Andrew Williams and Branden Edwards. They have been doing extremely well with our Aluminium Section Bending team and we look forward to working with them to further their skills.

If you are interested in our apprenticeships or our services do not hesitate to contact us.
