Improving Mental Health with Pups
Mental health and wellbeing are at the forefront of our growth and our latest additions to the roster are especially adorable.
Company pups Gucci and Enzo have finished their first month’s trial of dog days in the office and the effects have been immediate.
Boosting moods, encouraging exercise and play and bringing the team together through a shared love of all this adorable.
Introducing an office dog policy is one of our latest moves to improving the wellbeing of our staff, and this has thus far been a resounding success.

Taking care of our mental health is more important than ever, and having a dog can help tremendously. It has been scientifically proven that owning a pet can reduce a variety of issues such as stress, anxiety and depression.
This also introduces a wide range of benefits to not only the owner of the pet, but everyone in the office space.
Paws in Work, an organisation advocating for the introduction of dogs to the workplace have this to say:
For many employees who don’t like to leave their pets pining away at home while they go to work, this is a no-brainer, and can be really attractive to dog-owning prospective employees! But the benefits of having dogs in the workplace go much further than just convenience… having pups in the office can be a huge boost to employee morale and happiness, which can have far reaching effects around the organisation.
Mental health and employee wellbeing has been a focus for us here at Alubend and we are always looking for new and innovative ways to improve the working experience for our team.
