Alubend USA Adds Advanced Structural Stretch Forming to Its Aluminum Bending Capability

Alubend USA has taken delivery of one of the most advanced structural stretch forming machines in the United States, further strengthening its position as a specialist precision aluminum bending partner for the curtain wall, facade, glazing, and architectural industries.

The new stretch former is now operational at Alubend USA’s facility in Woodstock, Illinois, and is available for project inquiries across North America. The machine is capable of forming aluminum profiles up to 20 inches wide with curved lengths up to 20 feet, featuring advanced automatic yield detection technology and seven-axis forming capability, including controlled torsional twisting. Complex architectural profiles can be formed while maintaining exceptional flatness, accuracy, and surface quality.

The machine has been specifically developed for demanding curtain wall, facade, glazing, and architectural applications where profile consistency, tight tolerances, and visual quality are critical.
